Company Commercial Partner – Existing Practice, Potential Immediate Partnership

This is an international firm with a solid commercial focus. They have company/commercial capabilities in several other offices and are now looking to recruit a commercial partner into their established City team.
The commercial group has especially strong relationships with an impressive list of household name retailers and hotels groups and are looking to diversify their offering to these clients. There is a substantial platform here from which to market internally so a large following will probably not be necessary.
The commercial / TMT partner will work within a wider group of partners, and talented individuals in London with related practices. They take the approach that they can add substantial value to their clients by undertaking a wider range of smaller and mid-sized instructions alongside the larger and more complex pieces of work, and they are popular with their GC client base for this mindset.
This will be the first partner in London focusing on generating this particular work (broad, general commercial contracts), so there is an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious and client focused. A solid track record will of course be of interest, and this role might also appeal to an in-house lawyer who is keen to return to a private practice environment. It would certainly be an excellent opportunity for a senior associate, legal director or counsel level lawyer who feels that their partnership prospects are hindered at their current firm.
