Our Top 40 law firm client has a highly regarded full-service offering and now seeks to further strengthen its share schemes and incentives group with an additional partner hire.
Our client is happy to consider existing partners and also talented senior lawyers on the cusp of partnership.
This is a really good opportunity for an established share schemes lawyer to bring additional skills to this team and with the potential to take on a significant leadership role over time. The team currently provide the breadth of share schemes and incentives advice to UK corporates and also international businesses. Given the full-service nature of the firm there is plenty of additional and supportive expertise in areas such as Employment & Pensions, Tax, Regulatory, Pensions and FS together with internal workflows coming out of sizeable transactional teams, not least corporate.
As a well-established firm our client has a significant number of historic client relationships across a broad range of sectors which will continue to keep this practice area busy with new instructions. Therefore, skill set (and profile) are going to be a much more important consideration than bringing your own relationships/following – although, good client handling skills will be crucial. You should also be willing to get involved in managing the team and show the energy and enthusiasm to drive the practice area forward.
